November 18, 2024 A great weekend for many Eurogenes members at the national HHH-Show 2024 in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands. The outstanding Bons-Holsteins Koba 245 from Bons-Holsteins, sired by Doorman won her class before judge Brian Carscadden (CA) named her as Senior Champion and Grand Champion B&W of the national HHH-Show 2024! She was also Reserve Grand Champion 2 years ago at the International Show Cremona. At her side came her maternal sister, sired by Solomon: Bons-Holsteins Koba 253, she was named as Res. Senior Champion and Res. Grand Champion B&W. Dam to these extraordinary sisters is not a stranger in the showring: Bons-Holsteins Koba 191 EX-94-NL EX-95-MS. This silky black Jasper daughter was Grand Champion National HHH-Show 2016, 5th in her class at the European Show Colmar '16, Res. Int. October 21, 2024 Giessen Holsteins had again an incredible 'milk' year. They are the #5 milkproduction herd from the Netherlands and the #1 milkproduction herd in the North-East of the Netherlands for the milk registration year 2023 - 2024. The herd average from 2023 - 2024 is 13.886kgM / cow / year with 4.22% Fat and 3.47% Protein, a super achievement! Also the 36 2yr. olds scored an average of VG-86,8 with VG-87,6 for their Udders! This makes Giessen Holsteins also the #5 TYPE herd in the Netherlands. An rare combination, congratulations to the van Vliet family with this huge achievement! October 8, 2024 It was again time for the Hoornaar Show a few weeks ago in the West of the Netherlands. The GRAND title went to the tremendous show cow and Bankroll daughter Geertje 638 EX-93-NL EX-92-MS after she became Senior Champion of the show. The Reserve Senior Champion was won by Sidekick daughter Bons-Holsteins Roza 77 and the Honorable Mention Senior Champion went to her barnmate, Doorman daughter Bons-Holsteins Koba 245! September 9, 2024 The very promising Toc-Farm Fitz daughter, Bons-Holsteins Ella 261 won a few weeks ago the show in Streefkerk, the Netherlands. She is the highest classified 2yr. old Fitz offspring in the Netherlands! Her classification: VG-89-NL 2yr. (MAX) with VG-88 for her Mammary System and VG-89 for her Feet&Legs! Her dam is Bons-Holsteins Ella 223 EX-91-NL EX-90-MS, a Butz-Butler Atwood Brady daughter followed by an EX-92 Jasper x EX-92 Boss Iron x EX-90 Lava. Bons Holsteins participated with 8 heifers to the show and 1 miling 2yr. old. One of these heifers was Bons Holsteins Koba 310 (s. Bullseye), she became Reserve Champion Calf. February 20, 2024 A tremendous classification round for Bons-Holsteins last week! They scored 12 2yr. olds which resulted in an average of VG-87,8. Seven 2yr. olds scored VG-88-NL 2yr. old and one 2yr. old received the maximum score of VG-89-NL 2yr., which is quite in the Netherlands! The 2yr. olds were sired by Fitz, Moovin, Crushtime, Doorman, Unix and Alligator. Also four 3yr. olds sired by Crushtime, Unix and Goldwyn received the maximum score of VG-89-NL 3yr. from the homebred families of the Ella's, the Dikkies, the Koba's, the Aaltje's and the Roza's. Click further for more info.   Read More

November 15, 2023 A successfull Young Breeders Show last friday for Eurogenes members! Topcross Anna 264, owned by Jaap Jacobi, is crowned as the Junior Champion of the HHH-Show 2023! The Doorman daughter won class 16 with heifers, followed by Dempsey daughter: Dempsey Pixie, owned by van der Eijk Holsteins and making the top 3 complete in class 16 with New Moore Sidekick Maria 510! In class 15 became the interesting PTAT heifer: Sh Tease Red (s. Illustrator P) 2nd in her class between the black&white heifers! November 15, 2023 The WTC Expo in Leeuwarden were this weekend the entrance for the HHH-Show 2023. The quality of the cattle and ambience was again fantastic! January 23, 2023 Last week the classifier visit Bons Holsteins in Ottoland, The Netherlands and scored 22 impressive 2yr. olds and cows. Six 2yr. olds scored the gigantic score of VG-88-NL 2yr. and one 2yr. old scored VG-89-NL 2yr. Bons-Holsteins Koba 268 received the magnifique score of VG-89-NL 2yr. (MAX), she is a Jordy-Red daughter and was 5th in her class with 2yr. olds at the International Cremona Show '22. The other six 2yr. olds were sired by: Chief, Denver, Crushtime, Sidekick and Doorman. 5 cows were classified with EXCELLENT. One of these new excellent classified cows is Bons-Holsteins Koba 239 EX-92-NL with EX-91 Mammary System. She is a Solomon daughter out of Bons-Holsteins Koba 191 EX-94-NL EX-95-MS. She is the full sister to the Intermediate Champion International Dairy Show Cremona '22: Bons-Holsteins Koba 253 EX-91-NL EX-92-MS and maternal sister to the Reserve Grand Champion International Dairy Show Cremona '22: Bons-Holsteins Koba 245 EX-94-NL EX-94-MS.
