November 21, 2024 A few weeks ago the classifier visit Giessen Holsteins, Theo van Vliet, and scored many impressive 2yr. olds which resulted in an average of VG-87!! Two 2yr. olds scored the gigantic score of VG-88-NL 2yr. and four 2yr. olds scored VG-87-NL 2yr. These 2yr. olds were sired by Moovin *RC, Doral-Red, Atwood, Barolo, Warrior-Red and Stantons Chief. With this new scored 2yr. olds the herd average is now VG-87,5 which makes Giessen Holsteins belong to the top of the stage in the Netherlands. All 2yr. olds were backed by the famous Cinderella's, Charity's, Gorgeous' and Maxima! All-American 2011 and H.M. All-American 2012 and is from Windy-Knoll-View Pledge EX-95-USA 3E GMD DOM (s. Outside) out of Windy-Knoll-View Promis EX-95-USA 2E 3* GMD DOM. Great success last friday at the Young Breeders Show in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands. Her daughters, Giessen Panini 2 (s. Perennial) became Jr. Champion and Reserve Jr. Grand Champion of the show! November 18, 2024 A great weekend for many Eurogenes members at the national HHH-Show 2024 in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands. The outstanding Bons-Holsteins Koba 245 from Bons-Holsteins, sired by Doorman won her class before judge Brian Carscadden (CA) named her as Senior Champion and Grand Champion B&W of the national HHH-Show 2024! She was also Reserve Grand Champion 2 years ago at the International Show Cremona. At her side came her maternal sister, sired by Solomon: Bons-Holsteins Koba 253, she was named as Res. Senior Champion and Res. Grand Champion B&W. Dam to these extraordinary sisters is not a stranger in the showring: Bons-Holsteins Koba 191 EX-94-NL EX-95-MS. This silky black Jasper daughter was Grand Champion National HHH-Show 2016, 5th in her class at the European Show Colmar '16, Res. Int. October 21, 2024 Giessen Holsteins had again an incredible 'milk' year. They are the #5 milkproduction herd from the Netherlands and the #1 milkproduction herd in the North-East of the Netherlands for the milk registration year 2023 - 2024. The herd average from 2023 - 2024 is 13.886kgM / cow / year with 4.22% Fat and 3.47% Protein, a super achievement! Also the 36 2yr. olds scored an average of VG-86,8 with VG-87,6 for their Udders! This makes Giessen Holsteins also the #5 TYPE herd in the Netherlands. An rare combination, congratulations to the van Vliet family with this huge achievement! October 16, 2024 The Siemers Happen daughters Giessen Gorgeous 59 and Giessen Charity 289 are recently pictured at Giessen Holsteins. Giessen Gorgeous 59 is the first and highest classified Happen daughter in the Netherlands with VG-88-NL 2yr. with the maximum score for her Mammary System: VG-89. She is not only good looking, but produced also in 225 days 9.114kgM with 4.3%F and +3.4%P. Her barnmate Giessen Charity 289 VG-85-NL VG-86-MS 2yr. is also pictured recently by Wolfhard Schulze! August 22, 2024 It was again time for the Rundvee Show Noord (RSN-Show) in Lhee last week. Several Eurogenes members participated at this provincial show of Northern-Netherlands. Success for the highest classified Doral-Red daughter in the Netherlands: Giesen Charity 294! She is recently classified with VG-88-NL 2yr. with VG-89 for her Mammary System and became 2nd in her class with 2yr. olds. The Grand Champion title went to Geertje 598 EX-94-NL EX-94-MS. She became earlier that day Senior Champion and was also Grand Champion at the Wintershow Beilen last March 2024. June 25, 2024 Giessen Cecibell 8 EX-91-NL EX-92-MS is nine years old, passed the 100.000kgM recently and is last saturday successful shown at the first edition of the National Red&White show where she became 3rd in her class with production cows (>75.000kgM). May 30, 2024 Again a great classification round yesterdag at Giessen Holsteins, the Netherlands. 3 2yr. olds are classified with VG-88-NL 2yr. and 6 2yr. olds are classified with VG-87-NL! One of these 2yr. olds is the first Siemers Happen daughter in the Netherlands with this wonderfull score, Giessen Gorgeous 59! She is classified with the maximum score of VG-89 for her Mammary System and VG-87 for her Feet&Legs with a projected 305 days milkproduction of 11.321kgM with 3.4% Protein!
