October 21, 2024 Giessen Holsteins had again an incredible 'milk' year. They are the #5 milkproduction herd from the Netherlands and the #1 milkproduction herd in the North-East of the Netherlands for the milk registration year 2023 - 2024. The herd average from 2023 - 2024 is 13.886kgM / cow / year with 4.22% Fat and 3.47% Protein, a super achievement! Also the 36 2yr. olds scored an average of VG-86,8 with VG-87,6 for their Udders! This makes Giessen Holsteins also the #5 TYPE herd in the Netherlands. An rare combination, congratulations to the van Vliet family with this huge achievement!
